Day 1

Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport. You will be greeted by your guide and be transferred to your accommodation. After check-in and room occupation we undertake a city tour. Rest of the day at leisure.

Accommodation: Auas ​​City Lodge

This accommodation is a safe place for travelers, which is located in the city of Windhoek, at Maerua Mall Shopping Mall.

Day 2

You will be collected at 09h00 at your accommodation. Our route takes us to the south were arrive at in Rehoboth. Here we undertake a short tour through town where you observe the local culture. Just before Mariental we turn eastwards. Now you approach the Kalahari semi-desert where we reach our overnight destination.

Accommodation: Kalahari Anib Lodge is a green oasis paradise with a restaurant and chalets built around a shaded courtyard with swimming pool.

Day 3

Today we continue through endless farmland and visit the Quiver Tree Forest. Further we proceed via Keetmanshoop, the small town of sheep farmers in southern Namibia. On our way we visit a Namibia Distillery, where we also can sit for lunch. We continue on to the Canyons to our overnight accommodation.

Accommodation: Canyon Roadhouse

A quiver tree (Aloe dichotoma), is a slow-growing succulent.  According to the San, the branches can grow up to 9 meters high and over 400 years old, normally this is a stand-alone plant.

The Canyon Roadhouse offer 24 clean rooms, a large swimming pool, campsites, a gas station and an information center. The main attraction is the restaurant, decorated with antique automobiles.

Day 4 

The early morning will be spent at the Canyon. Here you can walk along the canyon and experience the undisturbed nature up close. The afternoon is at leisure. You can also participate in a nature drive or relax at the Roadhouse with some exploring.

The Fish River Canyon is named after the Grand Canyon which is the second largest canyon in the world and one of the most scenic sites in Southern Africa.
Canyon base - By now the river has dug not only into the near-surface rocks, but milled into the deeper rocks called Metamorphic rocks.. Currently, the Fish River is about 1.5 billion years old.

Day 5 

After a leisurely breakfast we drive to Bethanie. Here you will visit the first and oldest stone house, built by the Missioner Heinrich Schmelen. Along the way we take a short detour to an old lime kiln on the old lime kiln Lodge (another surprise waiting for you at the lodge).
In Helmeringhausen we will enjoy Lunch. We continue on into the upper Zarris Namib to our overnight accommodation.

Accommodation: Hammerstein Lodge

Commissioned by the London Missionary Society in 1805, Abraham and Christian Albrecht. Henrich Schmelen founded 1815 in Bethanie, also on behalf of the London Missionary Society, a mission station. This took over 1840, the Rhenish Missionary Society.

Hammerstein Lodge - The lodge is located on Zagros Mountains. It offers comfortable double rooms with air conditioning, shower and toilet, and a swimming pool. The kitchen prepares delightful local dishes.

Day 6 

It's still dark when we start the day with our cars and SUVs in the central Namib, the oldest desert in the world. Around the parched valley of Sossusvlei are the most gigantic dunes in the world, some up to 400m high. You will get the opportunity to climb the sand giants.
In Sesriem Canyon, a rock slab apparently abruptly swallowed the river Tsauchab. Our Lodge is located in the desert solitude. If you want, you can take a trip by jeep to the petrified dunes. Or enjoy a few hours of rest at the swimming pool and enjoy a cold beer.

Directly at the foot of the "fossilized" Dunes of the ancient Namib is the Namib Desert Lodge. 55 en-suite rooms, a restaurant and swimming pool invite you to linger.

Day 7 

On our way to Swakopmund we pass some of the most beautiful places in the Namib Naukluft Park - overlooking the Kuiseb Canyon. We reach civilization in Swakopmund after a few days of enjoying nature.

Day 8 

The morning we go on a boat cruise. Accompanied by pelicans and dolphins we observe the seals in the colony, enjoying champagne on the great trip and try the fresh oysters, which thrive excellently in the cold waters of the Atlantic!
In the afternoon we are back in Swakopmund. Here German is spoken, and it's not hard to get into conversation with the Swakopmund locals.

Tip for dinner: Erich's Restaurant is a quiet little place and famous for its seafood. You can also go the Swakopmund Brauhaus, Hansa Hotel or other places, since all are very good.

Day 9 

Today the day is a day of leisure. Simply relax and enjoy in peace the small coastal town.
Namibia's most popular holiday resort rises like a mirage from the desert sands of the Namib.  The long beaches, the beautiful parks and the many historic buildings from the German colonial era are just some of the many attractions.
Many activities are available in this coastal town, there are Quad bik tripse in the dunes, fishing from a boat or the beach, jump Tandem and a 2 ½ hour flight (highly recommended) over the dunes, Sossusvlei and back to the coast with a view of the shipwrecks. Seek advice from your guide. Or visit the best private museum in the country (about 2 ½ hours), Crystal Gallery (approximately 1 ½ hours) and the Marine Aquarium (about 2 hours).

Day 10 

During the morning you return to Windhoek where we drive through Usakos, Karibib and Okahandja. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening you say goodbye to your tour guide with a cozy dinner together.

Day 11

You are collected in time for your transfer to Hosea Kutako International Airport.
You can participate in another program.
