Itinerary:


Day 1 

Windhoek Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport. A meet and greet with your tour guide and transfer to Windhoek. Afternoon shopping and a common tour of the city.

Accommodation: Auas City Hotel

Auas City Hotel is a safe for travelers and is situated in the city of Windhoek, at Maerua Mall Shopping Center.


Day 2 

Kamanjab Guests will be collected at 09:00 from your accommodation. We travel through farmlands towards Kamanjab. Red soil under blue sky, towards the green Camelthorn trees. We stop in Okahandja, Otjiwarong and Outjo before we reach our destination.

Accommodation: OPPI Koppi Restcamp Camping

Meals: Self-catering

Oppi Koppi is situated near the entrance of Kamanjab, coming from Outjo. Built on a hillside with a few campsites available. Ablution facilities available.


Day 3 

Kaokoland After a leisurely breakfast, we head north past the county seat of the Himba, Opuwo and on to the border of Angola, the Epupa Falls. You traverse the Kaokoland where the Himba still live without telephone and TV. Enjoy the fascinating landscape and environment. An afternoon walk to the falls with your Tour Guide.

On the shores of the Kunene river above the Epupa Falls is the Omarunga Lodge & Campsite. Hidden beneath the exotic Makalani palm trees in the shade, is a small paradise. It is one of the "Gateways" of Namibia. As a guest you should only stay along the shore to relax and take in the undisturbed nature in itself.


Day 4 

Kaokoland A early morning tour to the Himba Village. Here we bring you closer to the Himba culture. An afternoong visit to the Epupa Falls with a “Sundowner” on a close by mountain looking out onto the lovely scenery.

Day 5

Kaokoland / Ovamboland We continue north through Opuwo to the border of Angola. We drive along the Kunene River or take a detour past Opuwo to the falls. On the way we visit the Ruacana Falls on the border of Angola. After a short drive we reach our overnight destination at Ruacana.

Accommodation: Ondangwa Airport Lodge

Meals: Lodge 

This lodge is located 2km north of Ondangwa airport. They offer very comfortable accommodation in 8 thatched roof bungalows. The restaurant serves traditional and European dishes. All rooms include air conditioning and TV.


Day 6 

Kavango Region Today's drive takes us through Ovamboland via Oshakati, Ondangwa, further east, through endless small settlements of various Ovambo Villages. You will get the opportunity to get to know some of these people in more detail. On the way we will pass Omafo, Eenhana and Okongo on our way to Rundu. This route is quite close to the Angolan border where locals live undisturbed and go about their daily lives. Late afternoon we will reach the Lodge located at the Okavango River which will be our accommodation for the night. Accommodation: Kaisosi River Lodge & Campsite Meals: Lodge The lodge is located 7km east of Rundu, amidst tropical gardens. The accommodation offer views of the Okavango River and consist of 4 double-decker Chalets each with 4 en-suite rooms. Activities include a visit to a traditional Kavango Village where traditional dances are performed. Visit the market in Rundu and enjoy a boat cruise with fishing and a sundowner. Each campsite has a private bathroom.


Day 7

Caprivi Our route takes us to the western edge of Bwabwata National Park. Just before we reach our lodge, we visit the Popa rapids. The Lodge is located between the vegetation on the Okavango River. Not far from here you will find the Okavango Delta. Accommodation: Mahango Safari Lodge - Campsite Meals: Lodge The Comfortable thatched Mahango Safari Lodge is located in the Mahango Game Park and West of the Caprivi Park. The Lodge has 9 double bed bungalows, 4 luxury Safari Tents and 3 guide Bungalows. All units have air conditioning and 24 hour 220V power. They offer a Lapa, Lounge with a bar and a swimming pool. 


Day 8 

Caprivi - Mahango National Park The morning will be spent in Mahango NP. Here you can watch lions, buffalo, elephants, variaty of antelope, wild boar and many species of birds. Here you experience the river as it widens and slowly forms the Delta. After lunch, take a boat cruise on the Okavango River.

Day 9

East Caprivi After a leisurely breakfast, drive eastwards through the Bwabwata National Park. You will be passing small settlements on the way. A visit to a traditional village in Kongola at the Kwando River is provided. Should you have time, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kwando, which forms the border with Botswana. Accommodation: Mazambala River Lodge Meals: Lodge The lodge is located on an island in the Kwando River area and surrounded by baobab trees in a tropical paradise. Here comfortable accommodation in traditional thatched bungalows and 24h electricity is available. Optional we offer game drives, boat cruises, nature walks, bird watching and fishing for Tiger fish, led by a guide.


Day 10

Botswana Today we leave Namibia and travel through the Chobe National Park in Botswana Kasane. After the border formalities you proceed through the park and can also view wildlife. Optionally, you can take a boat cruise and enjoy the Chobe River. Accommodation: Water Lily Lodge Meals: self-catering The Water Lily Lodge in Kasane is at the Chobe River. This is small and private lodge that cater only for a maximum of 20 guests. Each chalet overlooking the Chobe River. The accommodation consists of 10 air-conditioned double rooms with en-suite bathroom, WC, DSTV. A swimming pool, bar and restaurant is also available.


Day 11 

Botswana - Zimbabwe Vic Falls You will be collected early for a trip to the famous Victoria Falls. You pass through the Vic Falls National Park to Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. A day for you! Experience the Victoria Falls at its best! Afterwards you will have time for a short visit to the city before returning to the hotel.

Day 12

Botswana - Chobe An early morning game drive in the Chobe NP. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Chobe River with an amazing sunset.

Day 13 

Botswana - Chobe Only in the Chobe National Park! Nowhere else in Africa, would you find such large herds of elephants. But here you will also see buffalo, lions and cheetahs cavort.

Savute camp is simple but also wild.


Day 14 

Botswana - Moremi NP After a leisurely breakfast in the open air, we continue onto a game in the Morei NP. Wild camping at Camp Xakanaxa. Accommodation: Xakanaxa Camp Wild Camping Meals: Meals common Camping in the Moremi National Park is wild and the park, neither the campsite is fenced. Here's the highest caution is considered.


Day 15

Botswana - Moremi NP A game drive with a relaxing breakfast will be enjoyed under a tree where you will be able to observe the undisturbed nature. A late afternoon boat cruise on the Delta.

Day 16 

Botswana - Maun We're enjoying our last cozy breakfast in nature. The very last game drive for the trip will be in the Moremi National Park through towards south side of the Okavango Delta. Shortly before Maun you travel through several small settlements.

The Maun Lodge is located in the riverside town. It has cozy rooms with air conditioning, toilet and TV. The lodge offers a swimming pool, bar and restaurant.


Day 17

Botswana - Namibia A comfortable drive back towards Namibia. In Buitepos you cross the border into Namibia. After all the formalities continue your drive to the eastern edge of Namibia.

Zelda Game & Guest Farm is located only 20km from the Transkalahari border crossing into Botswana and is the ideal overnight stop on the way to Botswana and South Africa. Enjoy activities such as participating in walks with the Bushmen or with the "Be Wild" project Guests can learn more about ancient culture to experience.


Day 18 

Windhoek After breakfast, take a Bushmen Walk. Here you will be brought close to the Bushman culture. Continue westwards past Gobabis to Windhoek. In the evening we enjoy a farewell dinner together and say goodbye to the Tour Guides.

Day 19

Departure time depending on your flight, we will transfer you back to the airport.
